When Parents Disagree on How to Parent

For all parents

Thursday, August 12, 2010

Presenter: Barbara Fairfield, LCMFT

Couples often have different ideas about how to parent their children. One wants to be firm; the other wants to be kind. One wants the children to have family responsibilities; the other feels school work is a priority. One wants to provide for the child as well as they can; the other feels that will lead to spoiling. Can you work together? How can you do that when you both want the best for your children, but cannot agree on what that is?

Note: This is an interactive workshop which is best done with your parenting partner, but that is not a requirement. Participants who do not come with their partner will work with someone else who comes without a partner.
