Policies
Pre-registration with full payment in advance is required for each course or workshop.
Enrollment is limited, register early.
PEP reserves the right to cancel any class, workshop or seminar at any time. Classes with fewer
than ten participants may be cancelled. Registration and childcare fees will be fully refunded
if the class is cancelled by PEP.
Refund Policy ...
Classes: (6-10 sessions) If you cancel your registration at least 48 hours before the first class, you will receive a refund minus an administrative fee of $15 per person per course. If you withdraw after that, but before the second class, we will refund 75% of the tuition. There will be no refunds after the second class.
Seminars and Workshops: (1-4 sessions) If you cancel your registration at least 48 hours in advance of the event you will receive a refund minus a $10 per person administrative fee for seminars (2-4 sessions) and a $5 per person administrative fee for workshops, talks or Open Forum Counseling Demonstrations (1 session.) There will be no other refunds.

scholarship information regarding classes and workshops.
Textbooks
For those classes requiring textbooks, unless otherwise stated, you will not need your book
before the first class. Although it is not required, we encourage you to pay for the book
when you register and pay for the class. Books will be available for pick-up at the first class.
Absences
Within each course, the material taught builds on prior class meetings and thus attendance is
important. PEP encourages parents to register for a course only if they are able to attend at least
one of the first two class meetings. In PEP's Core Classes (PEP I, PEP II, PEP III, Parenting Babies and Toddlers, Parenting Preschoolers, and Thriving with Teens) up to two classes can be made up during the following session by notifying the class instructors and the PEP Office. Absences in shorter classes cannot be made up.
Availability: Childcare for children ages 1 year and older will be available only for those classes indicated in the schedule. Where indicated there may be limited openings for babies less than one year old. Call the PEP Office at 301-929-8824 to check availability.
Registration: When registering, indicate that you wish to register your child(ren) for childcare, pay in advance and include your children's names and ages.
Refunds: Refunds for childcare will be given only if requested seven or more days before the start of the class, seminar, workshop or kick-off talk.
Cancellation: In the event a qualified sitter is not available or the class is cancelled, all fees paid will be refunded.
Childcare for Classes:
Enrollment: Minimum of 4 and Maximum of 10.
PEP reserves the right to ask any parent with children enrolled in childcare to make
other arrangements at any time. Any fees paid for childcare will be fully reimbursed.

Cost: $12/first child; $8/each additional child from the same family.
Full payment is required at time of registration.

10 week class:
$120/first child; $80/each additional child from same family
8 week class:
$96/first child; $64/each additional child from same family
2-7 week class:
$12/week for first child; $8/week each additional child from same family
