PEP Thriving with Teens

For Parents of Teens Ages 13 to 18


This class applies the concepts and skills taught in PEP I and PEP II to the particular needs and concerns of parents of teens. Learn proven, positive strategies to parent teenagers effectively in the midst of their peers, media, the Internet, and their own adolescent development. Thriving With Teens teaches:

  • An understanding of the role you play in you teen's life
  • How to communicate on topics ranging from school to sex
  • Use of consequences and positive discipline to guide your teen's growing independence
  • Ways to build a relationship with your teen based on mutual respect, cooperation, and responsibility

Course length: Ten weeks

Course fee: $248/person

Required Text: Positive Discipline for Teenagers by Jane Nelsen and Lynn Lott  •  $17.97
